Today, with little fanfare, we took the wraps off of this baby blog. Here is what has happened and how we can tell your stories.

Over the past few weeks, the Communications Committee and the Board of The Themed Attraction Association of Canada has reviewed this blog experiment, created some policies for its operation, and now has permitted this WordPress blog to operate informally and apart from the official TAA web site.

It should be possible and easy to post items about events and member activities. So, hopefully, you will find the content to be newsy, up-to-date, and interesting. If you are new to blogging, please read About using this blog at the top of the sidebar.

Today we added all of the current members’ web sites to the list of TAA Member Links that will appear on every page of this blog. If there is anything you’d like changed about your listing, please call Robert Ballantyne at 604.947.0815 and we’ll fix it pronto.

We have a little bit of content in the blog, and over the next couple of months we’ll be asking the members to help us tell your stories.

We haven’t yet figured out how to receive your input, but if you are traveling to some themed attractions (especially if you are taking pictures), and have some pithy comments or observations, we’d like to know about it. Or, if your organization is doing something interesting, we’ll blog about that too. For now, please call Robert Ballantyne at 604.947.0815 and we’ll figure out how to post your news.

This is a really quiet time of year, and that should give us the opportunity to work the bugs out of this site.

So, late this morning, we removed the password protection and then registered the blog with Technorati.com. We are open for business.
